Ticking things off the list

The list, the list. My nemesis. The thing that was growing larger no matter how much I checked off of it... Well, the tides have turned. I had to make some sacrifices for the greater good, and that beast of a list is finally on a leash. ... and a diet! It's getting smaller.

unknown source - love, love, love that grey.

I'm back revisiting the perfect grey for my kitchen cabinets that still sit with half the doors on, half off - different hardware from many different ideas adorning different drawers. I'm sort of liking it that way. Not really. Sooooooo. I am just going to mix some of the many, (many many) cans of paint I have and make my own, paler shade of grey. It will be delicious.

So, speaking of paler shades of grey - I ran across these moody, broody, delicious photos from a very talented couple in Germany - Mark and Fabia - but I lost the link somewhere in my notes... I will leave you to enjoy these, while I go and do and tick off more things from this dreaded list that has been ruling my life lately, so I can have more time! Mmmmm time.
xo Isa

The grays were so popular in the 80's and I think they are now back in a big way. First, was the dove gray, then the lamb's wool. I think it goes with anything. Oh, those lists. Just having one puts you miles ahead of me.

Lists....I have 3 lists going .List 1 what is ready to do today....List 2 is what is waiting for me to make a decision ,things I am undecided as to color.style ect..(sometimes I just flip flip and just can't decide.. List 3 is: a wish list.. what we know we want but it is waiting its turn in line..for the budget.List 1 is HUGE..nothing gets done on time..it seems...but we keep chugging along..slowly checking them off..I wonder if we will ever finish these lists... I just hope we are not in walkers when we do

Hi Isa
These images are gorgeous!! Love the moodiness..

Well I have a kitchen dresser that is a grey/green sage... it tends to reflect more green than grey.. which isn't bad.. but not versatile.. i'd love to get the 'right grey'!!! good luck with that!! xx Julie

Oh poor Isa, me and you seem to have this list that never shrinks!
that first image is divine and I am sure whatever grey you think up it will be stunning and you should sell it and call it after your store.
