I am so excited about my finds this weekend, and that Blogger is once again working for me, so I can give you a sneak peek of some elements that are integral parts of several projects currently in the making at McMini Museville --
What could possible help an existing, very plain built-in come to life in my dining room? How about these fabulous 150 year old balusters... 8 of them, to be exact. 4 each of two different sizes and styles... Curious? I can't wait to show you, but first I have to finish!
My next find was a pair of deliciously chippy raised panel cabinet doors that are just over 4 feet tall - another lovely set of treasures slated for my dining room!
The dining room seems to be winning out, this week. My other rooms are jealous.
Check out the railing.... that is destined for the dining area under the pergola, and that's all I'm going to say about that for now... la la la...
Although that looks blue-green, it's actually grey - I'm so excited about these -- okay, I'll spill a little - they are going on the wall, in those little alcoves in my dining room.

Last, but certainly not least, I found 4 of these fabulous and big tins --
You'll have to wait and see where they end up, too!
I love a successful treasure hunt, don't you?
... stay tuned!

Why didn't I know about these!?!?!?!?! LOL! FANTASTIC! Very Maison Isa!
Well, Ms. Isa .... NOW you have my curiousity peaked!!!!
Can't wait to see them when you're finished. You sure found a lot of great stuff in one weekend. I would like to follow you around on one of your shopping trips. Where did you find the time with all the work on the house?
Oh Twin, I did tell you about this stuff - or the place... I know we talked about it. Hurry up and get out here, so we can do all this treasure hunting together in person rather than over the phone. HAHA.
Helen, I hope in the end you aren't disappointed! xo
Donna, PTH always says that I'm trying to kill him, but whirlwind is normal for me! You are more than welcome to come out here and come along (it just so happens that I have a Guesthouse that you could stay in! LOL)
I'm constantly on the look out, (seriously - every day) working from my ever-changing list that is always in my bag - folded, falling apart at this point, and under my tape measurer clip.
I'm off to rip the carpet out down the hallway - because I need another torn up room in my life. Oy.
xo Isa
