Sweet Details...

I really couldn't wait until all I had left around here were the small details. My house will then truly be a home.
~ and it's getting closer ~
at least outside.

Wasp traps never looked so good.
What's a yard and garden without a dinner bell?

The birds need dinner, too, and they can now eat in style.

Princes of the Flower Pots need to be adorned properly

and tablecloths need to stay on the tables, not dancing off with the wind...

When the sun begins its nightly descent, candlelight stands ready...

And to welcome eventide, twinkle lights of warm white peek out from the trees --

Someone needs to cut up my credit card
-- but it's so difficult not to use, especially with temptations such as these...
little garden details
that make such
a
beautiful
difference.

These are so simple and so beautiful. A few years ago I passed up wasp traps like those at a wonderful shop in McKinney, Tx. They were dirt cheap. When I went back, of coarse, they were all gone, and I never saw more. I've regretted passing those up for years!! The problem with the fine details is, as soon as you finish those, there are new ones!!! It's the circle of life! :) KIM

Yes it would be so much easier if someone else paid the bills wouldn't it??? Mind you in that world ice cream, pie & pasta are calorie free as well.
Adore all the details, especially the garden gate: the twilight of the image makes all the more magical.

wow lovely! so many darling little touches all to set a lovely mood. Do cut up the credit card, it's not worth it.
We don't trap wasps anymore because they too play a roll in pollinating we have not seen a honey bee in the last two years. We are actually thinking about getting a hive.
but your wasp trap is quite lovely. I need something for MOSQUITOS. I have a sonic web and apparently they went out of business.

From the little glimpses I've seen of your garden, these would be lovely little additions to your little patch of beauty. I love Cox and Cox - I almost bought some things from their site recently, but their delivery fees to Australia are huge!

I would guess that your house is already a home because of the love within it's walls.

WHA!?!?!? Those are WASP TRAPS!? They look like hummingbird feeders! FANCY SHMANCY ones at that! Poooka-Wooooka, I don't even know where that came from, it's like this stuff has me talking in tongues! teehehehe! Ok - so I'm making my list, checking it twice. This is so beautiful - it's sorta like that stuff from that one place ... oh, darn it if I can't think of the name of the place ... you know what I'm talking about ... they had the temple bells last year for Christmas, and they had carts like mine in the living room. Get back to me on what the name of that place is, will ya!?!? Oh - ok, back to business! LURVE this stuff - especially those little tea-light things that you can hang from the tree, AND AND AND you just gave me the MOST fantastic idea for one of the patio pots with that crown! Lalalalala!

Twin -- Ding, ding, ding! You got it. Napa Style is muy yummy. One of his stores is about 45 minutes from here. I'm adding to the list of destinations for when you visit! I need my own store - that would solve a lot. HA!

Isa - your garden is bellisima! I'm doing a little catching up after being away. The floor looks like it will be beautiful and what a difference it will make with the carpet gone. Congratulations to your son. When our youngest graduated from High School - we threw a big party - for ourselves!
Cheers!
