Being an early riser, and an adoring fan of the dawn skies, I was graced with a stunning display as I looked towards the heavens this morning. With coffee in hand, Leonard Cohen's voice lilting through the air from the stereo, I took to the backyard for my morning show.

Cloud watching is akin to daydreaming - it takes a relaxed state of mind -- and if you don't start out with one, as you watch the slow and graceful changes above you, you will surely end up with one.

Looking to the east, as the sun begins its ascent, it illuminates the clouds so beautifully --

And the show begins --

The clouds and the light begin their dance -

Like paint on a canvas -

pulling, pushing, swirling -

Being a tactile sort, this morning was especially nice.

The sky took on a pale yellow cast for a few minutes

as the sun inched higher, the clouds turned inward - broody...

the blue became less and less ... and then my spell was broken -- I was snapped back into reality by two very
insistent Huskies wanting their breakfast. And so the day begins here in
Museville.
Happy weekend.

Just Beautiful Isa. Thanks so much for your sweet words. Hope you have an awesome weekend, T
Beautiful, I love looking at the sky. Here in Florida it can change in the blink of an eye. Raining on one side of the road and dry on the other.
