Heartsong Finds....

I was happy to see some catalogs in my mailbox this weekend -- they have been few and far between since the economy began tanking. I have missed perusing them in the hammock -- I find myself loving the staging items and the locations many times more than the actual products for sale -- (isn't that terrible to admit??) and restoration hardware's latest catalog has me longing for summer....

And wishing that this was my yard.

Now, many elements, I do already have -- like these lightning rod finials -- I don't have the ones they offer, but I have mine and do love them.... although I may have to spring for the really tall one here, it would make a great addition, and create a set of three! My favorite number of things...

I love these pavers, and of course all of the stone and dripping greens. I just want a green and white backyard - with a tiny bit of purple thrown in by way of the rosemary blooms and the wisteria that is taking over the pergola outside my bedroom. If my cedars looked this great and my creeping fig was all filled in and trimmed as neatly as these photos, I'd be so happy I wouldn't know what to do with myself!

I started pining away for a house in France... again.

While I can't buy a house in France at the moment, I can still shop for French lovelies -- which I did. Some of these beauties I was fast enough to sweep up for myself...

others I wasn't fast enough, and am still pining away over them,

like a lost love...

But my heart raced with the treasures I did take away...

And you will see, and hear more of these later...

Happy Monday!
xo Isa

i too periodically go thru the "i want to live in france" refrain. you are so much closer to the real thing in california versus here in illinois....sigh........my imaginations needs to go into overload.

can't wait to see your "finds"
