Making Strides...

I have been singing the "I'm so far behind" tune since moving into Museville. It's been one big project after another - and when I got sick, I was panicked - all I could think about was, "how am I ever going to catch up now?!"

Well, I've finally embraced what I have been trying to convince myself of all this time - I really do get it. It's not a race. Throw perfection out - your best... well, that has to be good enough.
I'm good with that, and I'm actually getting more done with a calmer heart and clearer head.

I spent the weekend in the studio making these lovelies for the shop -

I just love sea fans -- there is such an ethereal, mysterious quality to them - a dark beauty imbued with such grace. One of those heartsong things again...

I also made a plethora of classics - some on bottles, some on silver - all equally lovely.

This barnacle cutie may have to stay with me - while washing it, and seeing the water staying in the little barnacle cups, an idea came to me. I went outside and clipped a few sprigs of lavender and popped them into one of the barnacle "vases".... this little baby may need to stay home with me - it's my latest addition to my desk.

Off I go into the week. Hopefully more things will get ticked off that overwhelming list of mine! First up -- washing all the antique demijohns that I picked up last week...

Take a peek over at Greyfreth if you have time to see all the new and beautiful sea life, including all the lovelies shown above.

Ms. Isa, you're too clever and how wonderful to be able to 'play' with such beauty.
