Let's turn away from the grey of it all for a moment

albeit it's difficult, because its beauty is beyond the pale, and so soothing.

-Sublime-

- nonetheless -

I need a jolt of color

- and the promise of Spring -

Stark.

Grey.

Quiet.

-Coupled with all of this rain is really getting to me -

- so for today -

let's paint the canvas in swaths of happiness
