I've always been a bit hesitant about putting markers into my carefully thought out and lovingly tended gardens. Everything, including my gardens, is a work of art to me, and I really labor over each element and decision... more than I should sometimes, really. Quite honestly, I hadn't come up with any clear visions of my own nor found any markers truly suited to them. So the gardens have gone without.

I wish I had thought of this idea -- ingenious, really.
On an Internet search for vintage silver to flush out my deliciously hodge-podged silver "set" I was led to "Liberty Post" who was featuring these little treasures, born out of the mind behind "Monkeys Always Look", local Allison Cecil.
Don't you love it when things work out like that -- little treasures unearthed that you didn't even know you looking for -- until you found it; you then can't imagine how you ever did without it.
It's that perfect of a match for you.
I love their antiquated elegance and the utter simplicity of the stamping - and the tarnish and the crooked letters matter not, because the concept of this garden gem is so grand that nothing can take away from that -- they actually add to the charm and beauty. Perfect within its imperfection. *

I LOVE these! I wish I didn't already have some or I will out and purchase ASAP. Well... maybe I can still purchase, my handmade tags aren't nearly as lovely!
