My son has only known California as home his whole life. This year, after visiting colleges around the country - he is seeing home through a new set of eyes. More appreciative ones. He has now decided to stay in-state and wants to transfer up to UC Santa Barbara next year. I don't blame him. I might just follow him up there -- especially if I could have this place that happens to be for sale -- ah to dream.
across the beautiful rooftops of the estate in Santa Barbara -
Can you imagine pulling up to this and being "home"?
The gorgeous grounds look much like John Saladino's estate ... Green and white - olive and Italian cypress - it doesn't get more beautiful.

Okay, with the expansive and stunning views of the pacific - it does get better.
The interior is just as beautiful -

Santa Barbara is one of my favorite cities.
This home is gorgeous. I think there is room enough for all of us!
You must be so happy that your son is staying in Ca.
I know I would be. I'm just not ready for my kids to move away.

Santa Barbara's only 90 minutes and $27 million away from my house! What a beautiful place, grand but not overdone or "themepark-y" if you know what I mean.
Isa, as you know, the Vintage Cross Bottles I purchased from your Greyfreth shop arrived yesterday. I just wanted to say that if anyone thinks they're beautiful in the web photos, they're even more so in real life. I'm so delighted with the bottles. They're full of soulful beauty. I'll be back for more!
ooooooo LALA! That hallway! Bury me there, ok?
Oh Isa....I think there is a room down the hall that will fit just what I need...I won't get in your way...promise!
Lovely...I grew up in southern CA and could see Catalina Island from my bedroom from the second floor, somehow it's just not quite the same as this stunning view! Do you REALLY think your son will get much studying done? heehee
Blessings...
And what may I ask, does one have to do for a living to own such a house?
I can't even imagine living in a house like that. Surreal.
Oh my, it's like a dream, isn't it? So lovely. I wish I had a kitchen like that. It's perfect.
I really can't imagine driving up to that every day and thinking, "I'm home!" I think I'd have to pinch myself every time! I love the bathroom with the chandelier and those beautiful views!! To die for!
Mothers must be near their children to support them at all times. Permission given to buy this property oh dear Sister of the Mysterious. If Mr. Muse queries anything, blame it on Miss Millie!!!
