Snorkling... in the backyard?

Isn't this dreamy?
No, it's really not the shallow waters of some beautiful white-sanded beach destination!
Believe it
or not
... it's an above-ground bed of succulents in the Sunset test gardens in Northern California.

Crazy!

Okay, back to digging through the huge landscape file on my computer - I saved photos of outdoor light fixtures somewhere and can't remember what I named it. Le grrrr. I ran across this one and just had to share it =)
I'll be back tomorrow with some light fixture choices I want you to help me make for the outside of my (finally) fully painted Museville!

Mmmmmm! SUCCulents! LOL! I love this ... like, REALLY love this. It reminds me of those gorgeous little mini-gardens they have that up close look like massive gardens ... you know what I'm talking about? LOL! I hope you do! Like fairy gardens, I think that's what they're called! Oh, anyway - lets make one! Love you twin!

It is beautiful. Have you seen the succulent section on my Garden Delights Blog ?

That truly is beautiful. I guess I should adapt a bit after all these years and allow in ONE desert plant...

Oh my, that is stunning. I love underwater architecture above ground. haha.

Hope you are doing okay! My computer usually crashes when I try to comment on your site. It is crazy. I have tried several times, but for some reason, it seems to reject your music (which I love) in combination with the commenting. Crazy! So, I am without music but able to comment tonight. Did you change something??

Yes it does look like an underwater scene... complete with curly-legged starfish preparing to skitter away.

Hi Isa
How wonderful!! I've never seen succulents so colourful before and one almost looks like an octopus sitting on a rock.

PS Thanks for your lovely comments.. x Julie

Wow, that's the coolest garden!! It looks almost like it came out of a fairytale!!

I hope you find your light fixture file. I have the same problem -- I save pictures that I like, and then I forget where I saved them or what I called them!!

It's like having a mermaids garden right in ones own backyard. So lovely!
